its hard to deny that music directly influenced my very action… arranged following the most played one on the top from my itunes…. i found out Mariah Carey’s recent album pawns all my mp3…. winner would be the Candy Bling…. a story of reminiscing a childhood love…. when one analyze its lyrics you can never find expensive things namely diamond rings, escalade, ferrari, big house etc…. childhood love is as pure as its gets, playing games together, giving out presents which is candy pops, nameplates etc… and yes though i never had experience love during pre-puberty days but i find this story-inside-song interesting and inspiring.
The next song is the latest commercial MV for LG Chocolate if im not mistaken…. Mumbling Nothing a quick chat with limauais just now made me realize its been a while since i last bloghopping… feeling a lil bit intrigued, quickly typed in this web address to have a quick link to the blogs that i used to hop. Amazingly almost all of the blog have disappeared or planning to shut down. Blogging might find its final deteroriation period since i believe people nowadays prefer to post shoutout at facebook or twitter their current updates.
on last weekend, UMW Corporation is helding a rehearsal for HSE-day which will take place in Shah Alam on 21st Nov. The purpose of the rehearsal is if god forbids, some circumstances that render host to be unable to hold firefighting competition (bad weather etc) the points gathered during the rehearsal day will be used.
so i drove my car from Lumut to Shah Alam on Saturday morning at 3am when the rehearsal commence at 7am… ahhaha after one or two or three attempt driving around Shah Alam do i manage to arrive at the place… its been awhile since i last drove there to be honest.
I am representing the Oil and Gas division in the wet hose event. Team comprises of Pak Ya, Azlan and Rihaizul. Pictures as follows

its been more than a month already since my last update…. well to be honest i kinda forgot that i have a blog actually…. life’s a plain boring one, specifically the working life….. i dearly miss my uni years when i could care nothing less than keeping the assignments sent on time or tailor lab results so that my report would kinda look ’successful’
got a late meeting yesterday… started at 5:30pm which ends on 7:00pm…. after my maghrib prayer, went for a lil bit of something and managed to finish it by 9:00pm
by that time uena @ teru have already at secret recipe sitiawan around 1 hour….
yesterday was my first time trying out menu’s at secret recipe outlets apart from the scrumptious cake….. found out they kinda have little but tempting decent dishes on the menu…. going to my safest bet i opted for spaghetti bolognaise… nothing could go wrong with spaghetti aite?
as for the drink the apricot orange slushie is the most tempting one… sinfully ordered that and i simply love it…. the tangy taste of orange compliments the sweetness of apricot… to my delight there are chunks of the fruit themselves in the beverages…..
Kinda felt sorry for uena though to drive all the way to sitiawan for a slice of cake… ahahah its approx 48km from UTP to lumut~ but the journey is kinda lengthy thanks to the multiple traffic lights and 90km/h speed limit….
had a nice chat with uena that night… the session made me realize how far the gap of maturity between us…. dont wanna spill the details though as it will definitely humiliate moi~

Mumbling Nothing Memories upon my arrival at UTP will never vanish… well at least till my brains couldnt store anymore memory and have to delete previous one lulz~ from the moment i enter the front gate, to the UTP main hall (previously own by USM) to getting all the checklist for registration done and even during hostel registration. Thank god I didnt feel alone that time as Ikhbar were registering on the same day. We opted to be roomates and get few things done/changed *cough*getting the list of names removed and replaced*cough*
The one thing I want to blog right now is about my housemates, the #rambang-ers…. well the name rambang came up when we got nothing to register for the utpirc house channel…. ameir came up with the name rambang and below are the list of members and what they have thought me throughout my 5 years there @ UTP
List according to room
1 - Shakawi : some called him the wiz of meche but i dont think he is that good… the truth is he’s great…. any assignments he will be the one to get it done / covered. A hot pick for groupmates. His room will be filled by various meche students during exams as he got the material to study prepared and ready. What ive learnt from him? To take your time to study during the early part of semester so there will be less burden near the finals. Owh another one would be the limited-usage-of-papers-to-put-your-notes. Thanks to him i realize study would be more meaningful if u write it somewhere.
2 - Syazwan : call him syaw, call him ahjushit, among the top in ee from what i heard…. like his roomate, assignments and stuff he will be among the first to complete, and there will be few that attempt to copy…. ahahaha even have to go to the extend of hiding his finished assignments for the sake of not giving the assignment to be plagiarised. Well dont blame him, blame the one who copy as a whole and got caught…. What ive learnt from him? God created the world fair and square… though the shape is spherical =p
3 - Ikhbar : my first roomate, fellow muzaffarian although his class is more superior than mine. A nice bloke whom i bought my ipod and camera from. What ive learnt from him? Two totally different genres can coexist in a limited world…. come to our room when we are roomates, and you will see it is proportionally divided between idol and rock world. Indirectly he shows me that in order to get involved with juniors… get ur ass involved in society@sports@coricular activities… which ive failed to do so =p
4 - Ezri : known for his hyper-bota-ism, dont blame him, blame the metro tabloid newspaper… hahaha. A nice person who took extra care for his grandmother. Went to his home quite a few times. Though he might kinda be extremely @ quickly fond to any girl, he is the kind of person who will help you no matter what. To be honest, ive taken too much from him I wonder if I could ever repay him. What ive learnt from him? Success doesnt come naturally, I have to earn them by means of trying. He also thought me of the importance of keeping friendship and to be helpful to yours.
5 - Fuad : my second roomate, involved deeply in medtech, and a dotard… ops.. wowtard hahahaha… whichever which, he is the trigger for any pc gaming activities in the house. Although we’re roomates, we didnt get involved much as he is taking petroleum major while im in the material, he do sport and i aint, he is in a society and yet im not. The only place where our ground stands is #helloproject. Though i doubt he knows latest thing bout JPH!P… ahhaha but i knew he got a crush on Yaguchi…. omgZ what ive learnt from him? Keeping your supervisor / higher authority to your work problems/progress is vital… ive seen it in his FYP… heck its the most important thing I will try to keep up during my working days….
6 - Zulkarnain : droves a red kancil and still driving. Ive to say im sorry first as I do realize ive done many little but inappropriate things during our 5 years studying together at UTP… huhu but what ive learnt from him is that people do change. Time is a remedy indeed and time heals~ though its a vice versa thing (good becomes bad and bad becomes good) lulz~
7 - Asri : fellow rambang who is the most matured one. The one who have the fatherly figures even before reaching 23. A very enthusiastic person in electronics, I find it interesting to know that he could / hardworkingly could do those soldering etc by himself. What ive learnt from him? To be wise in spendings, and to strive for what we want / wish~
8 - Ameir : the kind of guy who could be extremely friendly in minutes, neighbour to Fuad, he do actually get himself in trouble… love wise… not to mention the scene at Permata…. i could laugh my ass off remembering the story. Correct me if im wrong but in #rambang, he is the only one who have girlfriend @ utp…. while others have girlfriend outside, majority of us (Yes it includes me) didnt. What ive learnt from him? to not get involved in heavy complex romance to avoid headache later… hahaha… and he thought me ways to put aside your fear/clumsiness when facing the one youve had your crush on… which i couldnt spill out here =p
9 - Che Ku Adlan : if i have to describe this man in one word it would be : cheerful : not that he is never sad or anything but he always find the brighter side of anything… and yes he is whitely bright… lulz pun intended. What ive learnt from him? keep yourself as close as possible to god in every occassion…
10 - Abdul Rahman : i think everyone in #may03 would agree if i said he is the strongest of all… well build physic, he is the one whose smile never fades away from his face. What ive learnt from him? Be wise on everything you want to say…. and smile wouldnt cost you any cents…

11 - Fadli : car enthusiast i would say, drove a volvo to UTP. easily get offended by others. What ive learnt from him? Mistakes is part of human himself. Keeping up with the fault by giving your best in everything else~
its been more than a year already since we all graduated from UTP…. sometimes I realized that over the years, ive always be the selfish ones…. sorry for any inconvinience that have been caused directly or indirectly to you guys…. this might sounds gay but i miss all of you f**kers… lulz~

3rd Ramadhan, Monday - went to the Manjung’s bazaar ramadhan with man and bought : roti john + kuih scam (RM1 per piece lulz) and sugarcane juice
4th Ramadhan, Tuesday - went to ikan bakar telok muroh with syed and had : Ketam kari (curry crab) + gerogero sweet sour + a jug of syrup
5th Ramadhan, Wednesday - went again to ikan bakar telok muroh with syed, my boss and his for : Ketam kari (curry crab) + ikan bakar + air tembikai (watermelon juice)
6th Ramadhan, Thursday - had a plain menu~ =p
7th Ramadhan, Friday - went to Stadium Manjung’s bazaar ramadhan and bought : extra long roti john + RM2 worth of currypuff + sugarcane juice
8th Ramadhan, Saturday - went to Billion’s supermarket bazaar ramadhan and bought : nasi kerabu + popia goreng + watermelon juice
9th Ramadhan, Sunday - having a blast when a bunch of UTPians came down to Lumut….went from ikan bakar telok muroh to oldtown white coffee. Joined later by yap and his girlfriend to mcdonalds to waterfront bistro….. ^_^
10th Ramadhan, Monday - sorry key and syed, couldnt join you breaking fast at restaurant… not feeling well, went to Billion’s supermarket bazaar ramadhan and bought : murtabak ayam + popia goreng + asam boi
Nasi kerabu is the best menu ever had…. considering the price of RM3, plus its accordingly to my tastebud~
Popia goreng was nice when i first bought them, but yesterday its kinda soggy with the cooking oil~
The worst : Extra long roti john…. not only with a superb price of RM3.50, there was nothing else excepts egg and bread…. and extra long means extra quantity and tasteless
The best : hanging out with namely : akmal, husna, farah, farhana, wani, noreena, yap and her girlfriend which i didnt get her name lulz

Mumbling Nothing Last thursday, i was attending an induction programme held here in lumut. Icould basically summarize it to a “introduction to the new UMW” haha as it was explaining the new logo, why we use it and the values that each employee need to implement.

- UMW, moving towards globalization are not yet well known on the globe
- Generally, among Malaysian, UMW is perceived as limited to Toyota car distributor only, while UMW itself have 3 other main business namely Equipment, Manufacturing & Engineering, Oil & Gas other than Automotive
- Apart from Toyota, UMW actually have shares in Perodua and also LEXUS sales in Malaysia
- UMW is no longer United Motor Works, standing on its own, they are moving to be known as UMW alone.

- Alternating colours signifies the will for the employee to change and move forward
- The 21 dash in the logo actually didnt impose any meaning at all =p

Mumbling Nothing Im gonna write bout my first outstation trip with the new company, UMW…. went outstation to Shah Alam for a 2 day course (technical writing ftw!) which was held on the 20th and 21st of April 09.
19th April 2009
packed my things up and did some laundry. Got everything ready by 1000hrs…. when she text me for a breakfast outing somewhere in Sri Iskandar. So i drove as leisurely as i could there… taking my time, holding the urge to rev up my kelisa early in the morning. Arrived at Sri Iskandar around 1100hrs and we went straight to nearest mamak stall. Had a wonderful roti canai…. its kinda weird when u used to have that dish on late night and suddenly having it first thing when u woke up in the morning. hoho~ out of the blue we went to Batu Gajah’s Kellie Castle, was planning to just drive through, but ended up parking my car and we went loitering inside together that day…. i was sweating like crazy thanks to the hot and humid wheather of Perak~ haha

we finished our tour at 1300hrs or so, sent her back to her home and off i resume my journey to shah alam….. as usual i was tricked byPLUS to take the GCE (Guthrie Corridor Expressway) lulz… RM1.40 for every toll gantry == RM5.20 for the whole length of GCE… T_T, not a significant amount (compared to my usual toll from jb to batu gajah amounting up to RM68). Arrived at shah alam around 1600hrs and was amazed on how lucky i am to actually find the hotel, Blue Wave to be precise on the first attempt… wahaha, so i checked-in at 1430hrs and went straight up to my room…. wondering on how luxorious a RM450 rated room could be. First impression… spacious…. the first thing i do was looking for the internet connection, not the usual bouncing on and off the bed, but was immediately shocked on the internet rate they charge there…. RM1.57 for each minute of connection? WTF! hahaha that leads to me limiting my internet connection time of only 5 minutes per day =( 5 minutes costing around RM10? lulz. Find myself bored i hooked up my ipod which secondarily serves as portable HDD to watch the X-Men Origin : Wolverine movie…. halfway through, Bote dropped by the hotel and after Maghrib prayer we went to The Curve to meet Smiletiger. He was there with his new gf which ive never met before…. never would have known Smiletiger was actually a pedophile… lulz… not that he dates an underage girl…. she is around our age actually,born in 1985…. its just that she looks a lot younger that her age does…. lulz… had ayam penyet for the first time and i’m very thankful for the meal Smiletiger….

I woke up as early as 0545hrs just to make sure i didnt wake up late resulting in messy start…. after shower i went down to the lobby for breakfast at their cafe…. had nasi lemak with lots of potatoes plus apple juice…. i also consumed some bakeries. After stuffing myself with the wonderful breakfast, i went back to my room reading the newspaper half-heartedly, just flipping the pages and viewing the pictures…. before getting ready to go to the UMW-COE Shah Alam. Made it there after around 7-8 minutes of driving, i find myself arriving a lil bit early. Multiple of wifi access there but sadly i dont have the passkey =( so i kill the time using the plain, boring game installed in my phone….. when the course start i found myself being in the lowest designation among others…. some of them are in managerial level or senior executives, others goes beyond the regional manager level while im stuck at the trainee engineer post x_X. The training is pretty much similar with what we have at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS but every information for the whole semester is cut short into two days…. i found out my grammar sucks… not that it is good before but kinda ashamed on the current level of mine.
cut short, the course ends around 1700hrs and i drove straight to hotel. I have to prepare a report and presentation for the last day of the course and feels a lil bit gloomy but Megikari dropped by at around 2000hrs, we grab a bite at noodle station. I had a fried swivel mee there while she ordered some western delicacies which i forgot what…. hahaha the verdict? ice coffee sucks but i love the noodles… only that it is served in small portion, barely make it into the huge space of my tummy. After the meal, i went to the nearest 7-E to grab some junk food for me to chew while preparing the presentation and report for the next day at hotel. I found out that I have lots of things to catch up, latest gossip, whats new and something similar with her so she drove me around shah alam. Among other thing she showed me her office and places that she use to hangout. Went back to hotel, i disciplined myself to complete the presentation and went to bed…..

thought that i have been a lil bit smarter that day i woke up at 0615hrs….. packed all of my things since im checking out that day, i have everything ready at 0700hrs…. went down for breakfast and went for the course back again…. finished at around 1600hrs i drove to seksyen 9 to meet my sister to bring my belongings back to lumut. went back to lumut later that night with Syed Hazman who spent his holiday at Bandung Indonesia, i find myself sleepy thoroughout the journey. Dropped by the mamak stall at Sri Iskandar where i met Terubozu, Escapad, Orangmati, Kekuatan just to name a few…. was a blast considering the coincidence we got to meet there. hoho
